Off to our east is a multicell cluster with severe thunderstorm warnings on those. NOne of these storms are supercells.
Our departure from Denver Airport was delayed because, inexplicably, our car reservation was cancelled by Hertz. This occurred despite the fact that I called last night to confirm the change in plane reservations. All was well, I was told.
After a 45 minute delay, the reservations were reinstated.
We got the car setup....and off we go.
The dew points up here are meager. But 50+ are coming into Colorado....and much higher into Nebraska.
